Gas transit via Russia’s Nord Stream at record 43.8 bcm in 2016

MOSCOW, Jan 10 (PRIME) – An average annual loading of Russia’s Nord Stream natural gas pipeline amounted to a record 80% in 2016, and 43.8 billion cubic meters of gas were transported to the E.U. consumers last year, Nord Stream company said in a statement on Tuesday.

In 2015, traffic and loading stood at 39.1 billion cubic meters and 71%, respectively, while in 2014 it amounted to 35.5 billion cubic meters and 65%, and in 2013 to 23.8 billion cubic meters and 43%, the company said.
